OK folks. The idea to cycle the coast to coast has always been a dream. Now i have been re-diagnosed with Cancer this has become more of a desire to complete. During a conversation at work one day this challenge was hatched….
I will cycle the coast to coast. Not in four days or even three…. but in two days! The planning phase is well under way, my ride will have others for support and a crew to assist should we have mechanical issues.
It’s 140 miles… with some pretty serious hills along the way. 70 miles or so each day. I am to raise money while I do this and I have planned to do this on the 1st and 2nd of July 2019. Colleagues from work and my husband will be beside me all the way. Even Notts fire and rescue Chief is coming along!!!
Not only am I doing this but I am also undergoing treatment for my cancer which is probably going to make things a little harder….
